Madam's Pool

Madam's Pool is a dramatic, deep-holding pool with a fine neck and steady glide near the tail. Salmon hold in here all summer and the tail end and neck are very good for sea trout too. In Autumn the pool is spectacular with its fine bank of deciduous trees and it can hold many fish.

 

Madam's Pool is ideal for beginners who have a great chance of success because the neck is so easy to fish and long casts are not needed.

Access is relatively easy and wading is neither necessary nor advisable.
