					<content type="html"><![CDATA[¾ mile double bank fishing with a further pool at Lambley viaduct. This is a very productive beat with several named pools for up to 4 rods. The beat produces on average 98 salmon and sea trout per season despite being only moderately fished. The South Tyne has very good fishing from the end of May onwards given decent rainfall. Salmon to 26 lbs are reported and sea trout into the low teens.]]></content>

The salmon hang close to edge so long casts are not needed. In summer this is a good pool for night time sea trout too.]]></content>

Salmon hold in here all summer and the tail end and neck are very good for sea trout too. In Autumn the pool is spectacular with its fine bank of deciduous trees and it can hold many fish. ]]></content>
